Ecommerce website development in Stockholm
Ecommerce development in Stockholm can assume an identity system most markets do not have. Customers here authenticate with a national electronic identity, which removes most of a checkout form and settles who the buyer actually is. We build Shopify and WooCommerce stores for Stockholm businesses remotely, with no Stockholm office.
What is ecommerce in Stockholm actually like?
Where strong electronic identity is ordinary, the checkout can stop asking questions it already knows the answer to. Identification returns a verified name and address, which removes typing, removes address errors and lets a deferred payment provider make a decision immediately. It also raises the question of restraint: verifying somebody does not mean you should store the identifier, and the safer pattern is to confirm and discard wherever the transaction allows. Used well it is the fastest checkout available anywhere; used carelessly it collects more than the sale required.

What we build for Stockholm businesses
We build four things, and all four are delivered the same way wherever the client is: Shopify stores, WooCommerce stores, the interface design that decides whether either converts, and the automation that removes manual work from running them.
Shopify Development
Shopify development is the work of building a store on Shopify that does what your business needs rather than what a theme allows.
What we buildWooCommerce Development
WooCommerce development is the work of building a store on WordPress and WooCommerce, where you host the software and own the database outright.
What we buildUI/UX Design
Ecommerce UI/UX design is the work of deciding how a store looks and how customers move through it, from landing page to completed order.
What we buildAI Automation
AI automation for ecommerce means using language models and workflow tools to remove repetitive work from running a store.
What we build
What does each service run into in Stockholm?
Four pages, one per service, each about a different problem that Stockholm businesses actually bring us rather than a restatement of this one.

How does remote delivery work for a Stockholm business?
We have no office in Stockholm and no plans to open one. Work is delivered from our studio in Rajkot, through a shared board you can open at any time rather than a weekly status call. Everything agreed is written down the same day, because a decision nobody can find later is the same as one nobody made.
VAT here
Swedish VAT applies nationally, and identifying a customer strongly does not change the treatment of the sale, though it does make the record of who bought what considerably harder to dispute later.
Where your obligations actually begin is a question for a tax adviser. We build the store to collect correctly against whatever answer you get.

Which Stockholm sectors do we build for?
The Stockholm economy produces most of the businesses below, and their requirements we have met before. A sector missing from this list is a scoping conversation, not a refusal.
Retailers offering deferred payment at checkout
Businesses requiring verified customer identity
Sellers reducing checkout friction
Stockholm questions we are asked
Five questions specific to working with us from Stockholm, including the one every remote agency should answer first and most do not: whether we are actually there.
Do you have an office in Stockholm?
No. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and Stockholm clients work with us remotely. There is no Swedish address behind this page. We put it in the opening paragraph rather than the footer because that is where a reader forms the assumption, and correcting it there costs nothing.
Should every checkout use identification?
Only where the transaction needs it, such as deferred payment or age-restricted goods. For an ordinary card purchase it is more verification than the sale requires and it obliges you to handle an identifier you did not need. Offering rather than requiring is usually the right balance.
Does it actually improve conversion?
On mobile particularly, because it removes most of the typing. The gain is largest where the alternative is a long address form, and smallest where the customer is already saved and logged in. Measuring it against your own checkout is more useful than accepting a general claim.
Should we store the identifier?
Only if you have a reason you can articulate. Confirming identity and keeping the verified name and address is frequently enough, and holding the identifier itself adds obligations without adding capability. The safest data is the data you decided not to keep.
What about customers who cannot use it?
They need a route that is equally usable rather than a degraded one. Visitors, some residents and anybody without the necessary credentials still have to be able to buy, and a checkout that assumes identification and handles its absence badly excludes exactly the customers least able to complain about it.
