Bulgaria

Shopify development for Bulgarian businesses

Plenty of Bulgarian businesses sell something that never goes in a box: software, licences, services, access. Ecommerce platforms are built around parcels, and the assumptions leak into every part of the checkout. We build Shopify stores for Bulgarian businesses remotely, with no Bulgarian office.

What changes about Shopify Development in Bulgaria?

Selling something non-physical means turning off a set of assumptions rather than configuring them. There is no weight, no delivery address that matters for fulfilment, and no dispatch, so a checkout asking for a shipping address is collecting data you do not need and adding a step that costs conversions. What replaces dispatch is delivery of access: a licence key, a download, an account provisioned, a booking confirmed — each of which has to happen reliably and be recoverable when the confirmation email is lost, which it will be. Two decisions deserve attention early. What happens on a refund, because access already granted has to be withdrawn and that is a mechanism rather than an intention. And where the customer is, since the tax treatment of something delivered electronically frequently follows the buyer rather than the seller — a question for your accountant, and one the store must collect evidence for at the time because it cannot be reconstructed later.

What a Shopify Development project includes

Three things, and they do not change by country. What changes is the section above, which is the part worth reading before anybody agrees a scope for Bulgaria.

  1. Custom Online Store 2.0 theme or headless storefront
  2. App, payment and fulfilment integration
  3. Migration with a full URL redirect map

Cities we cover in Bulgaria

5 cities, each with its own page describing what commerce looks like there — what sells, who buys it and what makes selling there different — rather than repeating this one. All four services are delivered in every one of them, and we hold no office in any.

Black Sea Coast

Southern Bulgaria

Northern Bulgaria

The rest of what we build in Bulgaria

Replatforming rarely arrives on its own. The interface decides whether the new store converts, and the automation decides how much manual work it leaves behind, so the other services in this market are usually the next question rather than a later one.

Shopify Development questions from Bulgaria

Three questions specific to Shopify Development in Bulgaria. The general ones — how we work, what it costs, who owns the code — are answered on the service page, and the ones about selling into this market generally are on the Europe page above.

Do you have an office in Bulgaria?

No. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and Bulgarian clients work with us remotely. There is no Bulgarian address behind this page and no office anybody could visit. We put that in the opening paragraph rather than the footer, because the opening is where the assumption forms and correcting it there costs nothing.

Should we still ask for an address?

Only if something genuinely needs it, such as an invoice or a tax determination. Asking out of habit adds a step to a checkout that has no dispatch, and every unnecessary field on a purchase somebody could complete in ten seconds is paid for in abandoned baskets rather than in tidier records.

What happens when access has to be withdrawn?

It needs a mechanism rather than an intention. A refund on something already delivered means revoking a key, closing an account or cancelling a booking, and if that is a manual job somebody remembers to do, it will eventually be the job somebody forgets on a busy afternoon.
