Shopify development in Rome
What separates a working Rome store from a competent-looking one is usually a single unglamorous requirement: routing codes and tender references captured at the order rather than chased at invoicing. It rarely appears in a brief and it reliably appears in the first month of trading, which is the expensive place to discover it.

Routing codes and tender references captured at the order rather than chased at invoicing
The reason to build on Shopify rather than against it is that the ordinary parts are already correct.
A store fails at its specifics far more often than at its plumbing, and moving the budget towards the specifics is the whole argument. Rome city centre and EUR is where a good deal of this sits in Rome. The businesses there run on public administration supply, and that produces the requirement above as a consequence of how they sell rather than as a choice somebody made about the store. What decides whether this works is honesty about capacity. A store is a set of public commitments, and the ones made carelessly during a build are discovered by customers rather than by the team, which is the expensive order to find them in. That requirement is what the project is actually for. routing codes and tender references captured at the order rather than chased at invoicing decides the catalogue structure, the checkout flow and what the product page has to say, and a Rome build that leaves it until later is a build that somebody will be revisiting within the year.
We have no office in Rome. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.
What a Shopify development project includes
Three things, and they are the same wherever you are. What changes is the subject above.
Custom Online Store 2.0 theme or headless storefront
App, payment and fulfilment integration
Migration with a full URL redirect map
The other three, and what each one covers
Each answers a different question for Rome businesses. None of them repeats this page.
AI Automation
Businesses tendering for public contracts
UI/UX Design
Suppliers selling to ministries and public agencies
WooCommerce Development
Split payment treatment recorded per customer, because the tax is accounted for by the buyer
Shopify development questions from Rome
Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.
Do we need to be in Rome to work with you?
No, and none of our clients has needed us in the room. Work happens over shared documents, a staging site and scheduled calls, which is how a distributed team operates in any case. If a supplier who can attend your premises in Rome matters to you, that is a fair requirement we do not meet.
Do you handle the product data?
We can, and it is worth deciding early who is doing it. Catalogue work is the largest and least visible part of most builds, and a Rome business that already has clean structured data will spend considerably less than one whose descriptions live in a supplier's spreadsheet.
What happens after launch?
Whatever is agreed beforehand. Shopify handles the platform updates, so the ongoing work is your catalogue, your campaigns and the changes the business asks for. What we would not do is disappear at launch and leave a Rome client with something nobody knows how to change.
