Shopify development in Wels
A Shopify store for a Wels business is mostly ordinary until it meets the thing that is specific to how that business sells: suppliers serving buying cooperatives. That is where the build stops being a template and starts being a decision somebody has to own.

Suppliers serving buying cooperatives
The trade Shopify asks for is control over the plumbing in exchange for never having to think about it.
For a business whose difficulty sits in how it sells rather than in how it hosts, that is a good trade and it shortens the build considerably. The Wels businesses this describes are usually distributors selling to group-negotiated accounts, concentrated around Wels-Nord industrial area, and working in food processing. That combination is what makes the requirement above worth naming before a brief is written rather than after. Where we push back is on anything the operation cannot support. It is straightforward to build a store that offers more than the business can deliver, and the cost of that arrives later as returns, complaints and a reputation nobody chose. What we would want agreed before starting is that one requirement, in writing: suppliers serving buying cooperatives, stated plainly, with what happens when it cannot be met. A Wels store built on an unexamined assumption about that will be corrected by its customers rather than by its team.
We have no office in Wels. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.

Shopify development questions from Wels
Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.
Who owns the store when it is finished?
You do, completely. The Shopify account is in your name, the theme code is yours, and any custom work is documented so another developer can pick it up. A Wels business should never be in a position where changing supplier means rebuilding, and we would not build something that created one.
Do we need to be in Wels to work with you?
No, and none of our clients has needed us in the room. Work happens over shared documents, a staging site and scheduled calls, which is how a distributed team operates in any case. If a supplier who can attend your premises in Wels matters to you, that is a fair requirement we do not meet.
Can you work with our existing Wels team?
Usually yes, and it works best when ownership is agreed in writing before anybody starts. Which of us owns which part, how changes are reviewed, and where decisions are recorded matter more than the tooling, because two teams that do not share an office cannot rely on corridor conversations. It is the same answer we would give a Wels business as any other.
