UI/UX design in Košice

The interface decision that matters most for a Košice store is rarely the visual one. It is this: goods needed before a night shift starts rather than by a date, which is what the customer is actually working out on the page before they decide whether to trust the purchase.

A drawing of a design system for a Košice store being measured: type sizes, colour tokens, component states and a contrast reading above the WCAG 2.2 AA threshold.

Goods needed before a night shift starts rather than by a date

The way to answer it is with detail rather than tone.

A specific number, a named timescale or an honest limitation is read and believed; a paragraph of reassurance is skimmed and discounted, because every competitor has one of those too. Most of the Košice work we are asked about comes from distributors delivering outside office hours, frequently based around Košice city centre. What those businesses have in common is that the requirement above is not optional for them, whatever else changes about the build. Accessibility is not a separate pass over this. Visible focus, real labels, contrast that survives daylight and a keyboard route through the whole flow are the same work as making the page clear, and doing them afterwards costs more than doing them at all. The page succeeds when that question stops being asked. goods needed before a night shift starts rather than by a date is what a Košice customer is working out while they read, and an interface that resolves it plainly does more for conversion than any amount of visual improvement elsewhere on the same screen.

We have no office in Košice. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.

What a UI/UX design project includes

Three things, and they are the same wherever you are. What changes is the subject above.

  • UX audit against a published checklist

  • Redesign of the highest-revenue templates

  • Design system and tokens, where they earn their cost

The other three, and what each one covers

Each answers a different question for Košice businesses. None of them repeats this page.

UI/UX design questions from Košice

Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.

Do you redesign or start from scratch?

Usually neither at first. The useful first step is establishing what is actually going wrong, which is frequently narrower than a redesign and considerably cheaper. A Košice store losing customers at one step does not need a new visual identity; it needs that step fixed.

Will this work for our existing Košice customers?

That is the right question, and it is why we look at what current customers do before changing anything. A redesign that improves things for new visitors and disrupts the people already buying is a net loss, and it is a common outcome when the existing behaviour was never examined. It is the same answer we would give a Košice business as any other.

Do you produce designs or build them?

Both, and they work better together. A design handed over without the build frequently arrives on the site as an approximation, and the details that were the point — spacing, states, focus, what happens on a narrow screen — are the ones that get lost in translation. None of that changes because you happen to be in Košice.
