UI/UX design in Zurich
Businesses selling to corporate and financial customers in Zurich put a particular demand on an interface, and it is this: retailers with data residency requirements. That is a design problem rather than a content one, and it is solved on the page rather than in the copy.
Retailers with data residency requirements
Answering it on the page means being specific rather than reassuring.
Customers discount adjectives and read details, so a stated figure, a date, or a plain description of what happens next does more work than any amount of confident language around it. In Zurich that pattern shows up most in luxury retail, and around Glattbrugg business area in particular. The businesses there sell in a way that makes this requirement structural rather than a preference somebody could be talked out of. Accessibility is not a separate pass over this. Visible focus, real labels, contrast that survives daylight and a keyboard route through the whole flow are the same work as making the page clear, and doing them afterwards costs more than doing them at all. The page succeeds when that question stops being asked. retailers with data residency requirements is what a Zurich customer is working out while they read, and an interface that resolves it plainly does more for conversion than any amount of visual improvement elsewhere on the same screen.
We have no office in Zurich. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.
What a UI/UX design project includes
Three things, and they are the same wherever you are. What changes is the subject above.
UX audit against a published checklist
Redesign of the highest-revenue templates
Design system and tokens, where they earn their cost
The other three, and what each one covers
Each answers a different question for Zurich businesses. None of them repeats this page.
AI Automation
Data residency settled before the platform is chosen rather than discovered in a procurement questionnaire
Shopify Development
A constraint on the stack rather than on the design, which is why it belongs at the start
WooCommerce Development

UI/UX design questions from Zurich
Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.
Do you produce designs or build them?
Both, and they work better together. A design handed over without the build frequently arrives on the site as an approximation, and the details that were the point — spacing, states, focus, what happens on a narrow screen — are the ones that get lost in translation. The same goes for Zurich.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to what customers actually do, whatever form that takes, and half an hour with whoever answers the support messages. That second conversation is consistently the most useful part of the work, because complaints describe the interface more accurately than any brief does. That applies to a Zurich client exactly as it would anywhere else.
Do you redesign or start from scratch?
Usually neither at first. The useful first step is establishing what is actually going wrong, which is frequently narrower than a redesign and considerably cheaper. A Zurich store losing customers at one step does not need a new visual identity; it needs that step fixed.
