Shopify development in Paris
Customers frequently want what they can see assembled rather than the individual pieces, and a catalogue organised strictly by product makes that purchase difficult. Selling a look is a commercial construction rather than a photograph, and the difference is what happens when one piece in it is out of stock.

Selling the whole outfit rather than the shirt
A look is a set of products presented as one decision, and the commerce underneath has to decide what happens when the set is imperfect.
If everything must be available for the look to be buyable, a single sold-out size removes the whole thing from sale, which is severe. If the customer can buy what remains, the store has to make the substitution obvious rather than quietly sending an incomplete order. The middle position — buy the available pieces, with the missing one shown and offered as a notification — is usually right and needs building rather than configuring. Pricing is the second decision. A look sold at the sum of its parts is a presentation device; one sold at a discount is a bundle with the commercial consequences that carries, including what a partial return is worth. And the looks themselves need an owner, because a set assembled around a seasonal piece becomes a page selling four things and apologising for a fifth as soon as that piece is discontinued.
We have no office in Paris. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.

Shopify development questions from Paris
Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.
What happens when one piece sells out?
Whatever you decided in advance. Removing the whole look is severe, and quietly shipping an incomplete set is worse. Offering the available pieces with the missing one clearly shown, and a notification when it returns, keeps the sale and keeps the customer's expectations accurate.
Should a look be discounted?
Only if you have decided what a partial return of it is worth. Sold at the sum of its parts it is a presentation device with no commercial consequences; sold at a discount it is a bundle, and every refund on it needs a rule you wrote rather than one somebody improvises at the time.
Who maintains the looks?
Somebody named, because they decay. A set assembled around a seasonal piece becomes a page selling four items and apologising for a fifth the moment that piece is discontinued, and nothing in the store will tell you it has happened unless a person is looking at them.
