UI/UX design in Sofia
The gap on most Sofia stores is not aesthetic. It is that the page never answers the thing the customer came to establish: a basket that survives the round trip to the bank and back, which is why traffic arrives, reads and leaves without anybody being able to say what went wrong.
A basket that survives the round trip to the bank and back
What resolves the question is specificity.
Customers have learned to ignore claims and read particulars, so the sentence that changes a decision is almost always the one containing something checkable rather than something encouraging. The businesses this applies to in Sofia cluster around Sofia city centre, and they are businesses recovering failed payment attempts more often than general retailers, which is why this particular requirement is the one that keeps coming up rather than a more obvious one. Accessibility is not a separate pass over this. Visible focus, real labels, contrast that survives daylight and a keyboard route through the whole flow are the same work as making the page clear, and doing them afterwards costs more than doing them at all. The page succeeds when that question stops being asked. a basket that survives the round trip to the bank and back is what a Sofia customer is working out while they read, and an interface that resolves it plainly does more for conversion than any amount of visual improvement elsewhere on the same screen.
We have no office in Sofia. Our studio is in Rajkot, India, and every project here is delivered remotely — if a supplier who can attend your premises matters to you, that is a fair requirement and we do not meet it.
What a UI/UX design project includes
Three things, and they are the same wherever you are. What changes is the subject above.
UX audit against a published checklist
Redesign of the highest-revenue templates
Design system and tokens, where they earn their cost
The other three, and what each one covers
Each answers a different question for Sofia businesses. None of them repeats this page.
AI Automation
A code that arrives in a message, requiring the customer to leave the browser mid-payment
Shopify Development
Retailers losing orders at card authentication
WooCommerce Development
Businesses recovering failed payment attempts
UI/UX design questions from Sofia
Three questions about the subject above. How we work, what it costs and who owns the code are answered on the service page.
How do you know a change is an improvement?
By measuring it where the volume supports measurement, and by reasoning honestly where it does not. Small stores rarely have the traffic for a reliable test, and pretending otherwise produces confident conclusions from noise. In that case the argument has to stand on its own merits. That is true of Sofia work too.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to what customers actually do, whatever form that takes, and half an hour with whoever answers the support messages. That second conversation is consistently the most useful part of the work, because complaints describe the interface more accurately than any brief does. That is true of Sofia work too.
Do you work with our developers?
Regularly, and the handover is the part worth planning. Designs that specify states, edge cases and behaviour on a narrow screen get built correctly; designs that show one perfect screen get interpreted, and the interpretation is where the intent gets lost. None of that changes because you happen to be in Sofia.
